About Lan Tran

Hello! My name is Lan, and I am an undergraduate at the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in Environmental Engineering and minoring in Global Engineering.Through my diverse background in STEM classes and engineering projects, I have gained immense problem-solving, quick learning, and perseverance skills. I am thrilled to be at CU, exploring my interest in Global Engineering via innovative courses, lab research, and internship experiences.My direct involvement with student communities (Broadening Opportunity through Leadership and Diversity Scholar, Society of Women Engineers), along with my inclination to collaborate (Headboard Member of the first-ever Environmental Thrift Club, Senior Outreach Coordinator of Key Club), has provided me with a love for service and knowledge. I have fostered a strong passion for sustainability and am working towards combatting our greatest issues by utilizing my education to help the environment. I look forward to interacting with other students, professionals, and mentors who share my interests and are open to potential collaboration opportunities!
