About Lanay Clark

I'm an Account Manager at Carl Zeiss Microscopy with a background in microbiology. I specialize in light, electron, and X-ray microscopy, partnering with researchers across disciplines to optimize their imaging workflows—from acquisition to analysis—using advanced ZEISS hardware and software. I also manage website sales for our routine microscope offerings, ensuring a seamless experience for customers from inquiry to purchase. What drives me every day is the opportunity to collaborate with scientists at the forefront of discovery and to stay continuously immersed in cutting-edge imaging technology. My academic foundation includes a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). During my time at EVMS, I interned with ZEISS Microscopy, gaining hands-on experience in sales, service, marketing, and support. That experience inspired me to deepen my skills further in the EVMS Imaging Core, where I maintained advanced imaging systems and trained new users. Outside of work, I enjoy home improvement projects, spending time outdoors, and discovering new cuisines.
