I am an accomplished Construction Project Manager for high-performance and sustainable homes. For over a decade I’ve honed my skills in both ground-up construction and intricate alterations across a broad spectrum of building types — ranging from public and commercial spaces to residential projects. At BPC Green Builders, Connecticut's Premier Green Custom Home Builder, I proudly contribute to constructing and renovating homes that not only delight our clients due to their high quality aesthetics and workmanship, but also because of how healthy the home feels to live in. The high performance construction that we perform relies on important building science principles that must be perfectly executed to allow the building to last for decades and hopefully, centuries to come. I am also proud that we are contributing to our industry’s push for clean energy buildings through electrification and renewable site power, which in part due to important air sealing details enables significantly less energy consumption. Together with our clients and project design teams, we construct homes that consume roughly 10% of the energy of a conventional home, setting the standard for the future of sustainable building. Leadership to me is more than overseeing projects; it's about creating a synergy within the team and amongst trade partners involved in our projects. My role as a project manager goes beyond logistics; I foresee potential obstacles, nipping them in the bud before they can stall our momentum. My approach is simple but effective - maintain a positive attitude, be hands-on, and constantly strive for excellence. Being a Certified Passive House Builder with numerous safety and quality control certifications, I constantly strive to push the boundaries of what's possible in high performance building. I'm also open to collaborating and forging new partnerships that could help us accelerate the pace towards a greener future. My drive and passion for sustainable buildings are not merely professional; they form a significant part of my worldview, which is: consume less, make it last and reduce waste, and return to a cleaner way of living. As we move towards a more sustainable future, I am deeply committed to spearheading efforts in the green building and net-zero project domain.
