About Lance Bledsoe

I am a graduate at the illustrious Texas Southern University with a bachelors in science sports management with a minor in radio television and film, in college during undergrad I had 3 internships with Nexproleague a pro am basketball league in Houston being a reporter and social media intern, Kube57 a local Houston news channel as a sports media intern and ESPN 97.5 Houston as a sports radio intern. Since I graduated I been a commentator and reporter for Texan Live, a high school sports network that covers and show live High school sports in the state of Texas. With sports management being my major in undergrad I gained a lot of knowledge of what the sports industry is really like and I feel like I can apply that to being a sports analyst. My dreams and aspirations are to be a sports analyst or a sports commentator one day. I feel that my knowledge with sports is amazing when it comes to talking about players, stats, and the history of sports. I understand that most sports analyst out there are either former players or people with a personality. My personality is a amazing and I am very outgoing when it comes to talking sports and I am also a former athlete who played football, basketball and ran track so I will always have that knowledge. My reason of why I want to become a sports analyst or commentator are because of people like Stephen A Smith and Gus Johnson. The passion and love they have for talking about sports makes me want to be a commentator or analyst if not be even better. Working with Txsu sports herald covering all Txsu sports and writing articles for them and also having a sports podcast called “out of bonds” at the Txsu radio station Ktsu where we talk about Txsu and sports topics that happened during the week had helped my experience a lot in college. Now I am currently getting my masters in sports studies at Texas Southern University where I am a MBA grad student and a sports reporter for Unfiltered Media a podcast and Multimedia Network. After I get my masters I plan on getting a career in sports where I look to get into the sports industry and make a name for myself.
