About Lance Ceruti

A large part of my work experience has been around process improvement and reporting process design. I have a high aptitude in computers, programing, data management, and data architecture; including MS Office Suite. Power point presentation design is also a strong attribute. Past experience has placed me in roles where I am liaison between IT and Finance as I am comfortable in both worlds. I use the best resource to analyze data, keeping a dynamic environment sustainable and adding layers of organizational structure to create malleability while keeping controls to the base data in process. I have worked with PeopleSoft Crystal reports design and nVision, Essbase, TM1, SAS, Focus programming, Abinitio, Excel Macros, A.M. Best, and MS Access. Work experience in Financial reporting, Consolidation, Competitor analysis, Statutory reporting, reserves, Executive presentation design and process design- Designed and built a Balance Sheet Account reconciliation database for the company to satisfy requirements set forth by Sarbanes-Oxley. I had to captured the population of data under compliance and gather all key reconciling components to build out the ownership grid for reconciliations. I prepared procedural manuals, training materials and trained 350+ users in group classes. The project was completed 2 months ahead of schedule with a reporting structure designed to tie to the Corporate Balance sheet which was not specified but deemed necessary for audit purposes- Designed a reporting repository from which to compare premium with membership on a per plan basis. Taught myself MS Access, which was relatively new at the time, to have a more mechanical and timely reporting process through which I could design reporting- Brought a largely paper report driven environment to a more dynamic Excel driven reporting environment to enhance analysis capabilities utilizing pivot tables- Manage the development of a $1.6 Billion budget.
