About Lance Drake

Lance Drake is a Creative Director and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. His award winning documentaries, music videos, and short films have landed on many best of, staff picked, and buzzworthy lists over the years. For the past two years he created a series of music videos for the band Muse which developed into a story line for their conceptual album SIMULATION THEORY. The videos, flooded with easter eggs, are a pastiche of 80’s cinema, viral pandemics, and alternate realities. The roots of these videos grew into a Clio Winning VR game with Microsoft, an electrifying world tour, a Marvel comic, and now the groundbreaking feature length film SIMULATION THEORY: AN IMAX EXPERIENCE which he directed. Recently, Lance has become Creative Director at AmazeVR, a groundbreaking startup VR company in the music visual space.
