About Lance Fortner

I am a counsellor, coach and educator with 20+ years of experience, and post-graduate training in solution-focused practice. Blending mindfulness, mediation solutions and pastoral care, I provide individuals and communities with strategies that guide greater growth mindset, constructive communication methods and efforts to promote healthy well-being. Following my own family's transition to Germany in 2013, I have provided counselling within an international community in Heidelberg to assist English-speaking families transitioning to a new country where both adults and adolescents can work towards future outcomes they would like to see. In addition, I work with professionals across Europe and have developed frameworks to assist educators and organisations to build working solutions and lasting relationships with their clients. I have presented at various conferences for the Association of German International Schools, the UK Association of Solution Focused Practice, and the International School Counsellors Association.
