About Lance Gordon

I have a background working with people and I've spent 10 years improving my communication and interpersonal skills. I've made thousands of cold calls and made millions in revenue in each industry I have worked in. I've had experience in a few entrepreneurial ventures and will be using my knowledge in demos, sales, customer service, and communication in B2B sales with the help of CourseCareers. I discovered CourseCareers and spent the next three months going through an intensive online course in technology sales development. I learned everything I needed to learn about what it takes to be an SDR. I learned about Sales Engagement Software, Sales Cycles, CMRs, Sales Cadence, Sales Methodology, and the difference between ICPs and Buyer Personas. I've read books like How to Win Friends and Influence People, Fanatical Prospecting, and SPIN Selling. They taught me valuable skills in researching new prospects, cold outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn), and running a discovery call using SPIN & BANT. I also have demonstrated a history of working in sales prior to the Real Estate Industry. I started a marketing business for experience based on Facebook and Instagram ads for local businesses. Which gave me skills in prospecting, demo building and presenting, and closing. Other sales history include B2B sales for Verizon and selling Insurance at Geico. Working in sales allowed me to grow the grit and work ethic to be great in other positions. As well as having great customer service, problem solver mindset, customer needs focused, and a confirmed ability to identify root causes & devise efficient resolutions. Being in sales has allowed me to be calm under pressure and close at the appropriate times.
