After completing four years of active-duty service in the U.S. Air Force, worked full time in various industries while pursuing undergraduate degree on a part-time basis. Have experience working in retail, telecommunications, and manufacturing industries. Started wastewater treatment career in 2006 at Spartanburg Water- Started at Spartanburg Water as a Reclaimed Water Treatment Plant Operator Trainee, promoted three times to Operator Level 3, and soon became an Industrial Pretreatment Programs Technician. After being a Pretreatment Programs Technician for approximately four years, Promoted to Reclaimed Water Treatment Lead Operator. Held the position of Lead Operator at Spartanburg before taking the opportunity to work at Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) in Greenville County as a Pretreatment Programs Specialist, Water Resources Recovery Facilities Operations Manager and Pretreatment Programs Supervisor. Made the move back to Spartanburg Water to serve as the Wastewater Treatment Superintendent in 2022 and have recently been promoted to Director of Wastewater Operations-The decision to become a part of the wastewater treatment profession was to be one of the most challenging and rewarding career moves that I have made. Keeping South Carolina's environment free of pollution is a crucial job that I am proud to be a part of.
