About Lance King

1990 to present, Lance has sung on, produced, engineered and have contributed creatively on 30 formally released albums Internationally.* Lance Started Nightmare Records in 1990 Releasing 100's of hard rock and metal albums on the label and distributing literally thousands of indie titles for both artists and other labels since. His work ethic and interest in helping quality music be known and more importantly enjoyed has gained him notoriety in the melodic and technical world of heavy music as a man of high ethics, good taste and great promotional skills. After creating his own distribution network internationally with Nightmare, and working with Koch International/e1, Lance approached Sony/RED for quality label distribution and branding in North America to grow Nightmare's label roster of amazing talent. RED representatives we impressed, and sought to find the right person to represent Nightmare with Sony as Nightmare was a little fish jumping in a much bigger pond. It was agreed that MRI (Megaforce Records Independents) would be Nightmare's representative with RED so Nightmare would not get overlooked in the daily happenings. Megaforce Records is an American independent record label which was founded in 1982 by Jon and Marsha Zazula to publish the first works of Metallica.* Goals to continue my solo music career and not let my singing become a hobby. Love to be part of a successful touring act if the right opportunity presented itself. Over the last few years Lance has begun working in musical theater to broaden his experience with voice and acting.
