About Lance Locke

My qualifications include a ten-year track record of success in project management, network/business analysis, capacity planning/management, facilities optimization, and equipment installation. My knowledge of the telecommunications industry is extensive, as I have coordinated with internal/external customers and across functional divisions of various organizations, both in the US and abroad, to bring all project deliverables to successful conclusion. During my tenure with Sprint, I advanced from an analyst II of international provisioning to project manager of network planning and engineering, overseeing Sprint’s offshore Point of Presence management in Europe and primary backup for sites in Asia. Most recently, while employed by Midwest Consulting Group, I contracted as a project manager with Sprint Nextel, providing technical and administrative support in the engineering and databasing of all Sprint Nextel network equipment components and elements via Sprint’s Facilities Management System (FMS) and Switch Transport Assignment Tool (STAT). Other contributions included having uploaded/resolved any submitted plan within a 72-hour window, ending 2007 with a 95% completion rate; developing a global optimization plan that resulted in re-use savings of over $200K; and increasing Sprint’s bid win ratio by 7% to 15% for all submissions in one year’s time by enhancing and simplifying the order submission process.
