About Lance Nealy

Following careers in digital media production, product management, theater technology, and live performance, I’m excited to continue enhancing other peoples’ lives as I enter the field of social work. Beginning in the fall of 2024, I’ll join the Master of Science in Social Work at The University of Louisville’s Kent School of Social Work. I’ll be concentrating on psychosocial oncology to provide help to those with chronic and life-limiting diseases as well as their loved ones. Throughout my professional life, I’ve received the most energy and joy from helping others, whether in online community building, training end users on feature enhancements, guiding a performer in designing their perfect show, or making an audience cackle while cramped into a black box theater. Becoming a social worker is the next logical step, and I’m thrilled to be starting that journey at The University of Louisville.
