Background

About Landon Prentice

I grew up as the son of a full-time farmer. Work has never been a choice for me. Instead, is something that has been expected from me since a young age. I learned the value of waking up early to achieve what had to be completed that day. That has carried over into my college career where I still do more than what is expected of me. I work 25-40 hours a week plus being a full-time student. During breaks from school, I return home to work on the farm or Industrial Contractors, Inc. which is a construction company near my home that I do a wide variety of tasks for. In high school, I played football and was a member of the 2018 TSSAA class A State baseball championship team. During my high school sports career, I was awarded the David Davidson Leadership Award for football as well as the Bulldogs Leadership Award for baseball my senior year. As far as other extracurricular activities, I was the student body secretary my senior year and was in Best Buddies all 4 years of high school. I was a member of Youth Leadership Maury which was a small group of students from Maury County to meet and represent Maury County at the state level and meet to grow in our leadership skills. Now I am a member of Beta Upsilon Chi and will be serving as the Assistant Chaplain during the Spring and Fall Semesters in 2023. Also, in the summer of 2023 I served as a Youth Intern at a Church in Maury County where I will help middle school and high school students develop their faith.
