In a world of left-brained and right-brained individuals, I am the prototype for the “middle-brained” individuals who thrive when exercising analytical skills in conjunction with creativity. In short, I am the one you turn to when you need help trend forecasting for next season’s assortment, or when you need data to back up that dress you’re betting on. I pride myself on being a solution-oriented, tech-savvy creative with an aptitude for translating data into valuable consumer insights. As an Assistant Buyer at Ross Stores, I leverage my product development and assortment planning skills to help deliver quality products to our customers at an amazing value. I have 1.5 years of experience in this role, where I work with a team of talented buyers, planners, and vendors to optimize inventory levels, pricing strategies, and merchandising standards. Prior to joining Ross Stores, I was a Merchandising Intern and Key Holder at Sugarboo & Co. where I gained hands-on experience in inventory replenishment, brand management, and store operations. Additionally, I have a degree in Apparel Merchandising from Indiana University, with a minor in Marketing. As a fashion-enthusiast and a life-long student of the industry, I am always eager to learn more and expand my perspective through collaboration and innovation.
