About Lane Peterson

Curious | Compassionate | Efficient | Trainer After 10 years of experience in the football coaching world, I’ve had the privilege of working with high school and college teams across the country, honing skills in leadership, communication, teaching, and data analysis. My career has been centered on coaching, mentoring, and developing athletes, but I’m now shifting my focus outside of the athletic industry to pursue a new role that allows for a better work-life balance. I’m excited to leverage my expertise in leadership, organizational development, data-driven decision-making, and communication in a new career path. As a coach, I developed strong skills in presenting information, mentoring, and organizing teams, while also spending significant time analyzing data to drive performance. I also have experience teaching communication and public speaking at the high school and college levels as an adjunct professor, which has further refined my ability to engage, teach, and motivate. I recently completed my Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership, with an emphasis on organizational communication and project management. With my new educational background and diverse experience, I am eager to transition into a role where I can contribute to an organization’s growth while maintaining a healthier work-life balance. Ideally I would like to be in the Instructional Design or Training and Development environments either within the educational ecosystem or corporate environment. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
