About Lane Schmidt

As an intermediate full-stack developer, I committed to working in a team atmosphere to deliver a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing product. I provide modern serverless solutions using Node.js and AWS infrastructure, as well as beautiful frontend applications in React and Angular for the best end-to-end experience possible. Mental health tech interests me most; finding ways to improve people's lives using my skills is something I long for, and tend to search out those opportunities. At the core of my professional career lies a desire to solve problems using technology. I love TypeScript and Python. Other than my professional pursuits, I enjoy tackling random mini-projects to learn different languages (right now, Elm) and frameworks (Remix for example), and to further my debugging skills. Outside of work, I can be found writing and/or producing electronic music and spending time in nature hiking & scrambling with my friends, as well as riding my bike through the city or the backroads of southern Alberta.
