About Lang Thao

As a Service Coordinator at the Regional Center of Orange County, I act as a central point of contact to manage the delivery of services to clients by coordinating with various internal and external teams, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery while maintaining customer satisfaction. From within this private and nonprofit organization setting, I assist the Regional Center in its mission to obtain local services and support to help families with disabilities live safely and with dignity in the community. I facilitate communications with families, vendors, and internal staff to ensure appropriate contracts are maintained while remaining updated on various resources to share with families in need. I hold two bachelor's degrees from UC Irvine, in Sociology and Education Sciences, and have had years of experience working in the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) setting as well as within a psychiatry hospital setting; these experiences improved upon capacity to better understand and advocate for the well-being of my clients. My background in mental health and behavioral therapy informs my approach, ensuring that intervention plans are not only effective but also compassionate. My time working within a clinical, administrative, and customer service setting has provided me with invaluable experience, and I am ready to bridge these experiences with that of a more creative position. Currently, I am exploring my capacity for social media management and am open to opportunities to learn more and apply my knowledge in a new setting.
