About Lani Daniel

Hi! I'm Lani Daniel, and I am a new graduate from Georgia College & State University! My studies in English and Philosophy have taught me well in the areas of critical thinking, communication, and much more! I have been well versed in the ability to provide adept written and oral communication throughout my education. I have not only showcased my skills throughout my education, but in the many positions I have held at GCSU as well. My experience as the Grant Support and Programming Intern at the Flannery O'Connor Institute for the Humanities, GCSU’s public arts and humanities center, has developed my ability to provide exemplary administrative assistance, as well as familiarity in the grants field. In my time I have been able to support affiliated grants with editing and program advertisement, as well as assuring that each grant is successfully meeting its requirements. I have also extended my ability to program and advertise to my GCSU registered student organization, The Romantic-Victorian Affinity, where I served as the social media and community outreach chair for three years. I am currently the Project Coordinator for an NEH Oral History grant, Collecting the Past: Flannery O'Connor and Milledgeville. In this role, I manage daily tasks to ensure that all goals of the grant are being met. Currently, some tasks include managing student workers, publishing content to GCSU archives, and organizing programming for grant events.
