About Lanie Mathis

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia.I am the Clinical Lead for Court Services under the Justice Mental Health Department of Advantage Behavioral Health Systems. Through this position I work with the Western Judicial Circuit Family Treatment Court, as well as, the Treatment and Accountability Court. I provide trauma responsive treatment services including: EMDR, behavioral health assessments, individual and family counseling, crisis intervention. I am a trained facilitator for multiple group curriculums: CBI-SU, CBI-IFR, MRT, TREM, Seeking Safety, Celebrating Families and Prime Solutions. I work collaboratively with clients, the accountability court teams (judges, coordinators, case managers, attorneys, probation officers, etc.). I also collaborate with other community partners/resources, doctors and medical staff, DFCS, and law enforcement.Additionally, I am involved in the Athens-Clarke County committee, SAFE, or Strategically Addressing the Fentanyl Epidemic.In my free time, I serve as chapter adviser for the Alpha Alpha chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity at the University of Georgia.
