About Lanie Vanek

I help connect people and companies with the right partners and solutions to help them grow their business. I am from Houston, TX and grew up with a large, mixed family. I am blessed (and cursed at times) with 5 sisters and a brother. Growing up with them taught me how to relate and understand different personalities, beliefs, attitudes and backgrounds. When I was 17 years old, I had a love for luxury fashion and design. For this reason, I didn't want to attend a regular University so I went to Art School and let my creative juices flow. I graduated with honors and went on to work and climb the ladder at Louis Vuitton. I learned that as long as you do something you are passionate about, you are bound for success. When I was 25 years old, my passions broadened. I was ready for a new kind of challenge and made one of the biggest moves of my life. I set out to work in the Information Technology industry. It absolutely fascinated me. After that career change, I learned that no matter what you want in your life, you have the opportunity to go after it. Today, I enjoy understanding businesses individual processes and working with them to implement the right technology to get them where they need to be. I love to solve problems and always aim to improve everything I personally do and do for others. I work with top level executives and IT departments and act as an extension to their team.
