About Lankika Marasinghe

I am a Structural Engineer at Parsons Corporation, a leading engineering and construction firm, with over ten years of experience in the UAE and Sri Lanka. I have a B.Sc.(Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and I am a Chartered Engineer and a member of several professional institutions. I also have completed CIMA (UK). My core competencies include structural modelling, analysis and designing of bridges, high risers, medium risers, pump stations and substation related structures, using various software tools and complying with international standards and codes. I have worked on several prestigious projects, such as Kohuwala Flyover, Gatambe Flyover, 30 storied mixed development for Elliot place in collaboration with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients. I have also been involved in value engineering, design optimization, and sustainability initiatives. I am passionate about learning new things, delivering quality work, and contributing to the success of my team and organization. Skilled in CSI Bridge, MIDAS Civil, Etabs, SAFE, Staad Pro, sap 200,Prokon, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Codes and standrads includes BS standards, AASHTO and Eurocode
