About Lara Argento

Hi there! Welcome. Here's a little bit about me: I have an Associate's Degree in System Analysis and Development and also a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, both of which I completed on a full scholarship. Throughout my six years in IT, I've been heavily involved in Robotic Process Automation and Digital Transformation. As a Senior Consultant, I worked closely with C-level executives in the Financial Services sector to demonstrate automation, blockchain, and digital transformation's potential. As an Automation Engineer, I've created countless bots to streamline business operations by combining technologies such as web apps, databases, reading PDFs with OCRs, machine learning models, occasionally building some Node or Python scripts, and various ad-hoc solutions. I worked closely with clients to advise on technical best practices, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and handle clients' requirements via Proof of Concepts/short-term projects. Additionally, as an Automation Developer Evangelist, I've created technical content for the developer RPA community in the form of tutorials, videos, webinars, and meetups. Recently I've been diving into some DIY projects mainly tinkering with IoT stuff, such as LED addressable lights and microcontrollers, using 3D printed parts to snap everything in place. 🤖
