Drive the product from concept to production • Act as a liaison between design, technical design, and merchandising to ensure the seamless flow of information.• Complete technical packages in Microsoft Excel to expedite the pre-production process.• Execute trim and label development/approval process with trim vendors on calendar, within target, assuring brand integrity.• Communicate with domestic and international vendors on a daily basis to review development and production status.• Request and review costing to ensure it falls within target price margin.• Manage fabric testing through Intertek to ensure our fabrications meet the company standard for crocking and dimensional stability.• Supervise fittings with an understanding of garment construction and textile performance.• Order and track salesman samples to ensure the sales representatives receive the best representation of the product, on time.• Educate the sales team on product knowledge/key features for every delivery to help sell the product.• Review strike offs, wash panels, lab dips and knit downs and communicate comments to vendors and advise them how to proceed.• Work closely with purchasing to ensure fit, fabric, or trim approvals are not jeopardizing deliveries. • Team up with QC to ensure inventory is within tolerance and advise how to proceed if it is not.
