Background
About Lara Ault
I have been a college professor at teaching institutions since 2002. I love teaching students about the scientific method and inspiring them to inquire about their social worlds through research. My PhD is in social psychology, so I have a passion for social research, and especially for incorporating evidence and critical thinking in the topics I teach. I have recently began using the flipped classroom, which is a great way to allow time for active learning in the classroom. I am just now learning about backwards course design, and look forward to incorporating that into my teaching. I love my profession, and feel extremely fortunate to have one of my favorite hobbies allow me to earn a living.
