About Lara Bruce

As Senior Outreach Manager for Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado at CaptionCall by Sorenson, I lead a talented, purpose-driven sales team that helps bring critical captioning technology to those who need it most. Our work enables people with hearing loss to stay connected—to their loved ones, to their communities, and to their healthcare providers—by delivering real-time phone captioning in both English and Spanish. With a clinical background in speech-language pathology and a specialization in adult hearing loss and aural rehabilitation, I’m passionate about bridging the gap between healthcare and technology. I bring over a decade of experience in auditory training, patient education, counseling, and advocacy—ensuring that our solutions not only reach those who need them but also support long-term communication success.I hold a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders, a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and am licensed as both a Speech-Language Pathologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist. My professional mission is simple: to lead with empathy, educate with purpose, and make a measurable difference in the lives of people with hearing loss.
