About Lara Bunta

Lara Bunta is an actress, a model and a dancer. She grew up in Ljubljana, Slovenia where she started dancing at the age of 5. She performed in numerous TV shows and shared stage with different artists. Growing up, she was very interested in the film industry and stage performing, which lead to an acting career at a young age. Lara went to acting schools Barica Blenkuš and Satirikon where her passion and experience for acting grew and became better and better. At age 19, Lara continued taking courageous steps towards professional acting and moved to Los Angeles, California. She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Acting in 2017. After graduating, she was eligible to work in United States. She has played in many short films which entered film festivals and won awards. Lara was also invited to join Loft Ensemble theatre company in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, as a recognition of her unique skills and relentless hard work. She performed in a play called Social Darwinism which received many great reviews, comments and awards. Loft Ensemble marks its success with over a dozen of original plays and several successful revivals. It has been nominated for over 20 awards and it is one of the fastest growing theatre companies in Los Angeles. Lara also lives in Toronto, Canada where she performed and acted in multiple music videos and commercials. Lara has a very unique look. She can portray many different characters, such as the funny blonde, girl next door, office boss, villain, secret agent and more. She connects with each character on a deep level and brings out the best of it. Lara is extremely good at understanding and following directions. She is very communicative, fun and also a hard-working person. She is fluent in English and has family background from Croatia and Montenegro, giving her the ability to speak Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian fluently. Lara has extensive training in dance, stage combat and martial arts.
