About Lara Jackson

I am a recent graduate from Griffith University with a double degree in Civil Engineering (Honours) and Environmental Science (Soil and Water Science). Throughout my time at university and as an intern at GHD, I have discovered that my passion lies in combining engineering principles with environmental science to address complex challenges and deliver sustainable solutions. Over the past 2.5 years, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience through my internship at GHD, where I contributed to diverse projects across the Water Systems and Contamination Assessment and Remediation teams. These roles allowed me to develop expertise in site investigations, sampling, reporting, and project delivery, while deepening my commitment to creating positive environmental outcomes. I thrive in roles that blend practical fieldwork with analytical problem-solving, and I am driven by a desire to learn and grow continuously. With a strong foundation in both engineering and environmental science, I am excited to contribute to impactful projects that support environmental sustainability and benefit the broader community.
