About Lara Kaiser

Lara Kaiser is a Principal, Director of Operations, and Healthcare Design Leader at Perkins & Will São Paulo, the only one of the 34 studios within the global network located in South America. Educated as an architect and urban planner, she holds a postgraduate degree in Project Management from the Engineering School Escola Politécnica at USP (University of São Paulo) and a master's degree in Building Design for Health from London South Bank University, where she lived for ten years and worked on local projects. Returning to Brazil, she taught at the Postgraduate Course in Healthcare Architecture at the Faculdade Israelita Albert Einstein and is a co-author of the book "Edifícios de Saúde - Hospitais, Clínicas e Laboratórios"(2017, ABDEH and J.J. Carol Editora). This year, in partnership with FK Grupo, she launched the Living Health line of furniture and technical panel systems for healthcare environments. She is certified by the Green Building Council Brasil (GBC) as a LEED GA (Green Associate) and has over 20 years of experience in healthcare design and architectural conception, as well as in leading multidisciplinary teams of up to 50 people from different nationalities. Serving some of the largest private healthcare groups in the country, such as Hospital Albert Einstein, Grupo Fleury, Rede D'Or, Prevent Senior, and Hospital Sabará, Lara specializes in project management, quality control, and strategic planning. Among the highlights of her portfolio are several large-scale projects developed in Europe during her tenure at Avanti Architects in London, and in Brazil, the Albert Einstein Teaching and Research Center - Cecília and Abram Szajman Campus, designed by Safdie Architects, where Perkins & Will was responsible for educational, laboratory, and healthcare planning, serving as technical supervisor and leading the follow-up stages of the project, completed in 2022 in the Morumbi district, South Zone of São Paulo.
