About Lara Moffat

Lara Moffat, ASLA, is a creative at heart: writer, photographer, degreed horticulturist, award-winning garden designer, and proven business developer focused in Landscape Architecture, Design, and Art. As Senior Design Consultant and Business Development Lead for David Harber in the United States, I work with landscape architects, architects, designers, real-estate developers, and private clients to expand the reach of David Harber’s artistry across the U.S. and globally. With a passion for fine art and design, and in close collaboration with our team of makers and designers in England, I help clients place artworks of exceptional quality and extraordinary beauty—whether classic or bespoke. I would be delighted to support you on your next project. Previously, as Senior Business Development Team Lead at Landscape Forms, Lara partnered with design professionals to create a sense of place in outdoor environments through standard, modified, and custom site elements. She tripled her territory in less than nine years, growing it from $1.75M to $5.5M, and achieved $6.6M in 2023. By focusing on relationships, solution-based service, and adaptability, she consistently exceeded goals, earned multiple internal awards, became a trusted partner to clients, and was regularly invited to present at national sales and industry meetings. Earlier, as principal of LM Creative, Lara assisted designers in growing their businesses through strategic marketing, content development, website analysis, and consulting, and managed Land8, the social media network for landscape architects. At the start of her career with Lambert Garden Design, she advanced from landscape design intern to Director of Marketing and Recruitment, helping the firm earn more than 30 national design awards. The consummate student, Lara finds inspiration in cultural events, spirited design conversations, and professional service. She currently serves as Past Chair of ASLA’s Women in Landscape Architecture Professional Practice Network (WILA), which fosters mentorship, promotes equity, and builds community among women in the profession.
