About Lara Saft

I live on the ocean in San Diego with my husband and two daughters, writing fiction and walking on the beach. For the past sixteen years, I provided psychotherapy services to a broad range of children, teens, and adults using an attachment focused approach. This neuroscience based paradigm honors the central role human relationships play in emotional development and life fulfillment. Clients' relationships, past and present, are explored in depth since they inform personality and identity formation, sense of self, family and career choices. Self-awareness gained through this process helps clients make life affirming changes and moves them from surviving to thriving.
