About Laria Conley

LaRia is a Senior Product Manager with 10+ years experience, primarily in the Health Care industry supporting beneficiaries, applicants, case workers, health care providers and data experts through clients such as the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affair and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. LaRia is currently at Nava PBC, a consultancy in the federal and civic tech space, on the Federal Health portfolio. On her project, she is the Product Lead across two scrum teams, for a Medicare.gov website focused on improving the search experience and health care decision-making for beneficiaries and caregivers. LaRia's core focus is to maximize business results and user experience through human-centered strategy. By combining her business acumen and storytelling skills, she excels at vetting trends and opportunities, identifying moments that matter for customers and stakeholders, and prioritizing findings in an executable strategy. Outside of work, LaRia is an educator for higher education and continuing learning. She teaches at the University of Maryland, College Park, College of Information Studies; supporting Human-Computer Interaction graduate students and Information Science undergraduate students. Additionally, she is a Teaching Assistant for IDEO U, primarily supporting the Design Strategy and Activating Strategy courses for learners across the world.
