About Larissa Vendrame
Larissa P. de Castro Vendrame obtained her Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, in 2006, at Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Goiás, Brazil. Conducted her M.Sc. and Ph.D studies in Genetics and Plant Breeding at Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture/ University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP), from 2009 to 2013, with research focus on soybean breeding and quantitative genetics. Took up a Sugarcane Breeder position at Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira (CTC), focused on germplasm management, hybridization and breeding population development. Currently she is a scientific researcher at Embrapa Vegetables, focused on sweet potato breeding.
