Larry Batson is President and CEO of SCS Home Entertainment, also known as Springfield Central Systems. Batson began the business in 1990, originally limiting his services to the selling and installation of central vacuum cleaners. As people began to make their home more of an entertainment Mecca, Batson expanded his offering to include the sale and installation of home audio and video components. Today, Batson has nearly 30 years of experience in both the residential and commercial arenas of audio, video and automation. He has direct relationships with the top brands in the industry and understands not only their benefits, but their limitations, making him the expert in determining the best components to use for individual projects. Batson has managed to accrue a team of experts, becoming known as the ‘Cadillac’ of home entertainment. That’s why, when the job is complicated and requires the best products and installation, area builders and developers call SCS. Throughout the last three decades, Batson and his team have successfully completed dozens of projects that involve some or all of the aspects that this project holds.
