About Larry Bluford

Being the oldest of 5 kids I never knew how a divorce between my parents would send me into the streets. In the system at the young age of 12 I learned about the street life quick. Started selling rock cocaine at the age of 14 which led to me being heavily involved in a world of drugs & violence. I was on the way to my grave fast until one night an event happened that would change my life forever. My wife and I who by the way have been married 30 years, went back to school acquired our bachelors degrees and was able to walk the stage together. What an amazing experience. I've been a union ironworker since June of 2004 (21+ years). Started off as a first period apprentice. Graduated the (4) year apprenticeship program and became a journeyman shortly thereafter I became a foreman then general foreman then in March of 2022 I became a Project Manager for the same company I started with. Business owner of R.E.A.L. Clothing since December of 2021. I sell clothing and I am also a motivational speaker. I often go into the juvenile hall to speak to the youth as well as prisons to speak to the adults.
