I am a seasoned communications/public relations professional with more than 20 years of experience in the Connecticut labor movement. I love the challenge of using my skills as a writer, communicator and consultant to tell the stories behind the great people who make up our union, and to share the message of our movement. Adept at media relations - I've worked with reporters at major media outlets (NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Hartford Courant, WNPR). Equally comfortable using today's digital tools to mobilize and engage union members and the public at large. I've tackled projects of every variety from preparing legislative lobbying materials, drafting speeches and organizing press conferences to hosting a union podcast, developing a social media presence and strategizing fight-back campaigns that engage our members and the public.
