About Larry Hatfield

My career has had many different facets over the 30 years that I have been in the workforce. I started in warehousing at 16 with the Hudson’s Bay Company where I was taught to drive a forklift on my first day by being tossed the key and told to “go practice, you’ll figure it out.” Pretty standard back then but obviously not how you would do it today. Since then, I have moved through many areas of warehousing and distribution by working for many big companies and some smaller ones too. Dedication and loyalty were always a strong suit for me, and I would always want to make the team my number one priority. Getting to know those who worked for me was a large contributor to my success in becoming an Operations Manager and building teams of people that were wanting to work with me and not just because I was the “boss”. Safety was always high on the priority list – Everyone deserves to go home the same way they came in to work. In one piece and with a smile on their faces. Today I am extremely interested in passing on the knowledge that I have gained and mentor those around me to become whatever it is they have set their goals for. I would like to help foster growth and bring change to their lives for the better and help them succeed in providing for their families to their utmost ability. By continuing to learn and live through experiences I make sure that I bring about the changes that I need and want to see within myself. I have a lot that I can teach, but I also want to keep learning. By taking on challenges that are presented and working through them with heart, dedication, and loyalty I will continue to develop my skills and the skills of those around me. By doing this we will work together as a Team to bring success to our organizations and grow into even more successful environments for ourselves and our customers. In March 2009 I added another of my passions to my career path and became a Health and Life Coach. I opened my own business – EagleEye Wellness. EagleEye is a Life Coaching business where I use Nutrition Coaching, Reiki, and Psych-K® to help my clients break down the stress and chaos in their lives to attain their goals. This is done through one-on-one meetings in person, on the phone, or via internet. Although EagleEye is not my primary career anymore it is still a passion.
