About Larry Hollin

Larry Hollin is a partner at Arch Street Advisors (ASA), a boutique fund placement and advisory firm dedicated to raising institutional capital for select alternative investment funds. Prior to founding ASA, Larry was a partner and Director of Investor Relations with Independence Capital Partners (ICP), a group of private investment firms with an aggregate of $12 billion in capital, which includes: LBC Credit (corporate mezzanine), LEM Mezzanine (real estate mezzanine), LLR Partners (buy-out/growth equity), Lubert-Adler (real estate), Patriot Financial (community banks), Quaker Partners (health care), Rubenstein Partners (commercial office), and Versa Capital (distressed LBO). Prior to joining ICP, Larry was a venture partner at Edison Ventures, a growth equity and venture capital firm with $600 million in capital. In addition, Mr. Hollin served as VP of Private Equity for Penn Mutual Life, an insurer with $100 billion in assets. Prior to Penn Mutual, Larry founded First Atlantic Company, a business advisory firm, which assisted over 50 emerging growth and technology firms. In addition to his private equity background, Larry was a U.S. Congressional Candidate in the 2nd Congressional District of Pennsylvania, holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from both the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and the College of Arts and Sciences. Larry has been a speaker at numerous industry events including NASBIC/The National Summit for Middle Market Funds, the Capital Roundtable and the CIO Summit. He has chaired LP Outreach for ACG's M&A East for 2011 and 2012. Larry also serves on the Leadership Council of the Wistar Institute and on the Board of the Conquer Fragile – X Foundation.
