Licensed Commercial General Contractor in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, with a broad background in construction, emergency restoration, and public safety. I’m the co-founder of MHL Solutions, Inc, Emergency Restoration Solutions, and Revived Roofing Solutions—each focused on efficient, forward-thinking building and recovery strategies. I also founded the nonprofit Blueline Disaster Solutions, dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by natural disasters and emergencies. Prior to entering the construction industry, I served over 25 years in law enforcement, with a concentration in criminal investigations. During that time, I founded Georgia’s first dedicated Metal Theft Unit and contributed to the development of House Bill 872, which was signed into law to regulate secondary metals recyclers. The bill was instrumental in reducing metal theft—particularly on construction sites—and in supporting efforts to pursue contractors who victimize homeowners and communities through fraudulent or criminal activity. I hold a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) designation, which allows me to apply proven strategies that reduce criminal opportunity through smarter, safer design. This designation complements my work in both public safety and construction, promoting environments that deter crime and enhance community well-being. Today, I leverage my unique blend of field, industry, and policy experience to build safer, more resilient communities.
