About Larry Martel

I currently have 29 combine years in the Oil and Gas industry. The past 20 years have been fulfilled in Engineering as a Piping Designer with focus on the onshore and some offshore markets utilizing all the latest 3D Design toolsets and technologies. My goals are to bring experience and knowledge to execute all projects with quality and accuracy while also mentoring junior level designers. Specialties: PDS Piping Designer, PDMS Piping Designer, CadWorx Plant, Cadworx Equipment, Cadworx Structural, cadworx admin, kubit and faro Laser Scan, microstation, autocad 3d, navisworks, Smartplant review, and many more. After graduating from high school in 1993, while attending aviation school I started working as a pipefitter/welder. In the late 90’s I attended pipefitter Apprentice school where my concentration was in welding and drafting while attending I joined the drafting department where I was employed. After earning my journeyman license and turned to the design aspect where I have been for the last 15 years. I pride myself in the ability to learn as well as teach the aspects of the industry and the toolsets that are used to successfully complete a project.
