About Larry McElroy

With over 30 years of experience in food service management, I am passionate about ensuring food quality and safety in various settings. As a Quality Assurance Manager at Lineage Logistics, I oversee the daily operations of food service programs, plan and purchase food, maintain records, and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety procedures. I also leverage my skills in employee training, contingency management, and operational efficiency to lead and support my team, and to facilitate smooth and effective service delivery. Previously, I was a Food Service Manager in the US Army, where I managed food service operations within an organization, restaurant, or institution, and ensured that the program followed policies and procedures and met federal and state requirements. I have a bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from University of Maryland Global Campus, and another bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Ashworth University. I am motivated by the mission of Lineage Logistics to eliminate waste and feed the world, and I am eager to bring my diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
