Hello, I’m Larry Okika! I am a Self-directed and dedicated implementation specialist and business development professional with more than twelve years’ experience in the financial sector. My history of success as a professional is directly related to my ability to foster organizational growth through sales, business development, relationship management, financial planning, and strategic relationship development. I obtained a BSC (Hons) degree in Computer Science (Technology), certifications in basic accounting, selling and relationship management, managing conflict and have attended various leadership and management seminars. My work experience to date has spanned various business sectors such as Banking, Financial Services,Information technology and Public safety which demonstrates that I am very versatile. I have successfully managed high-profile customers during my experience within the banking industry which gave me the skills to identify the needs of customers, empathize and manage them efficiently, assessing and recording business needs, recommending business priorities and advising businesses on options, risks and costs versus benefits and also identifying, deploying and managing software solutions to meet these needs. My leadership skills have been developed through various means such as being the Hall Senator in my hall of residence and holding various society positions whilst at the University, being the Zenith Bank branch Service Coordinator ensuring that the standard of service set by the bank were upheld and strictly adhered to and lead- Operations process and implementation spearheading diverse functions withing the department. All of these afforded me the opportunity to positively interact with ethnic diverse populations and various age groups and also to acquire important leadership characteristics, some of which are Problem Solving, Motivational and Listening Skills. My passion is for delivering service that goes beyond organizational expectations, creating a win-win scenario for everyone involved. You will find me to be a totally committed individual with pride in being determined, dedicated, result driven, ambitious and self motivated.
