About Larry Robbs

As a practicing architect with 44 years experience, I manage, program, plan and design facilities for corporate, commercial, institutional, higher education and athletic clients. I have been very fortunate to experience a wide range of project types and complexity in my career that have resulted in very satisfied and award-winning recognitions. This breadth of experience has allowed me to bring alternative viewpoints and solutions to many design challenges. This has often turned constraints into new design opportunities. I enjoy the entire architectural process from the information collection and investigative phase of programming and generating concepts to actual construction that translate a client's needs and vision into three-dimensional solutions. I am energized by the design process as concepts are refined and integrated with the technical needs of codes and engineering. My primary focus is to provide intensive, high quality architectural and interior design services that exceed our client's expectations. I enjoy working with diverse groups to build consensus. Listening during programming and providing design solutions are the key to engaging people in the design process. I believe in the benefits of energy efficient, sustainable design. Our office received the first LEED Certification in our county and I have been the Principal-in-Charge of several LEED projects. I listen well and understand that a facility must not only satisfy functional and technical needs, but also the subjective, inspirational needs of the client. On a year-to-year basis, over 80% of our work is performed for repeat clients.
