About Larry Rothman
I am currently in my 26th year with the Michigan State Police. Over that time I have investigated cases across the criminal spectrum. From simple cases to full scale active and cold case homicides. As a detective I utilize everything the Michigan State Police has to offer as well as searching out new and innovative ways to help solve the most difficult cases. I am currently overseeing and implementing the Michigan State Police Cold Case Team. A multi-jurisdiction cold case unit that has partnered with Michigan State University to help organize and digitize every one of our cold cases. I am a current member of the Southeastern Homicide Investigators Association, the International Homicide Investigators Association, former member of the Internet Crimes Against Children’s Taskforce. I am also an experienced public and inspirational speaker and presenter and enjoy singing and playing guitar.
