About Larry Wright

With 10+ years of experience, I have encountered all obstacles before, ideally, having the opportunity to offer an abundance of resources to societies across the US. I have gained recognition in communities in Maryland for my often well contributions. From the day I started my journey in 2011 as a youth program leader, it has always been fulfilling to make an impact on not only an individual, but an entire group. Knowledge of cognitive and social development has helped me to reach new heights, though my experience is what separates me from many. Having experience as a classroom teacher, career liaison, and after-school program director, I have learned that routine and structure builds culture in any environment. Learned skill in employee training, student retention, and community engagement has allowed me to build relationships with schools, investors, food pantries, and other resourceful partnerships. I consistently deliver quality services and supports by implementing innovative ideas to uplift Baltimore City K-12 youth. I have attained a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. In my roles as a Teacher, Director, and Manager, some of my tasks included but certainly were not limited to: • Communicate with donors and community partners to provide funding and resources to students and families • Cultivated school environments that promotes growth for staff, families, students and community • Build positive relationships with investors to ensure funding and resources are available for students. • Lead professional development conferences for teachers, supervisors, and mentors to set program and classroom standards • Keep record of student performance and information regarding all stakeholders through various databases Working with students and staff for 10+ years has shown me that a relationship without judgment, builds trust. If one acts with integrity and transparency, others will be more open to nurturing through academic achievements, business experiences, and civic leadership.
