About Larry Zevnik

I am a dynamic, energetic reference librarian who believes in providing great customer service by assisting patrons with all their reference needs. I have demonstrated experience assisting patrons with general questions, computer related questions, reader’s advisory, and exam proctoring, with strong reference and instruction skills and passionate commitment to public service. I have twenty years experience providing reference service in-person, by phone, and through email utilizing all types of resources including online databases and printed sources. I have assisted patrons and co-workers with the use of Microsoft Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint. I regularly assist patrons with downloading e-books and e-audio books to tablets, e-readers, smart phones, laptops and PCs. I have provided training for staff training day on downloading E-books to a variety of E-readers, and developed E-Reader user guides for use by library patrons and staff. I developed a well-rounded career collection for the Library’s Career Works Program I am proficient in Microsoft Windows 2008 Server, Photoshop Elements, and the Microsoft Office Suite
