About Lars Brusven

Lars represents clients in a broad range of litigation matters including commercial disputes, oppression remedy claims, professional liability matters, public law litigation, class actions, and appeals. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada, as well as numerous administrative tribunals and private arbitration panels. Lars’s previous experience includes litigation on behalf of the federal government as counsel at the Department of Justice, as well as work at another leading litigation boutique in Toronto. He has conducted multi-week trials, arbitrations, and judicial review proceedings on behalf of his clients. Lars earned a joint JD/MA (International Affairs) from the University of Ottawa and Carleton University, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Ottawa Law Review and Assistant Editor of the Paterson Review of International Affairs. During law school, Lars completed studies at Tel Aviv University and earned various advocacy awards as a member of championship moot court, negotiation, and mediation competition teams.
