About Lars Dijkstra

As a passionate traveler who has lived in 4 continents and in 6 different countries it may come as no surprise that I am driven by an international approach to business and insights. Luckily I get to talk to brands and agencies all over the world and consult them on international media, cross-channel advertisement and help them understand how and where to reach luxury consumers. I am a data-driven professional with a scientific background in neuroscience. After a network event I coincidentally landed an internship at a US advertising agency, that eventually turned into my first job as a junior analyst. In this role I got to experience the ins-and-outs of the agency life. These years I lived and worked as a digital nomad, visiting over 50 countries whilst developing more professional experience simultaneously. During my time as an analyst, I was particularly interested in consumer insights and international advertising, so when I moved to Amsterdam I aimed to find a position in this area of expertise.Now I am part of a global audience measurement team who delivers a big international consumer insight study. I am the key contact person for agencies and luxury brands who are looking to understand the niche audience of Affluent/Luxury consumers. I get to combine my agency experience, my international background and my data driven mindset in order to help brands create stories, strategies and insights that allows them to excel their business needs.
