About Lars Dijkstra

The two most important things for our existence on the planet are a stable climate and a diverse biosphere/nature. Without those there will not be economic progress and stable societies. In the next 10 years we need to make huge transitions on energy, food and materials and do it at scale and with speed. In my opinion it is the financial and corporate sector who can make the most impact. Having run two marathons at Philips Pension fund and Van Lanschot Kempen I am determined to make sure the third marathon is within an organization where I can make an impact at scale and with speed. I am a seasoned Executive Leader with 30+ years of experience in Investing and Sustainability. I am confidently operating as a C-level Executive with extensive Board Room experience and direct interaction with the Supervisory Board. Through my experience and involvement I have easy access to a large network of Senior Executives in the financial services industry and Supervisory Bodies. I bring a strong vision on the role of the dominant players in the investment chain (shareholders and corporates). Sustainability should be at the core of Business Strategy. I strongly believe that the future is about long term value for all stakeholders instead of short term profit for shareholders. I am seeking to contribute as a Senior Executive and/or Non-Executive Director, having real impact by creating financial and sustainable (environmental and social) value and navigate the company through the fundamental transitions of our time
