Joined the AP Møller Maersk Group’s 2-year trainee program (MITAS) in 2006, during the 2 years I was challenged in 3 various positions in the group. 8 months in the QA/HSE department working with the company management system. 8 months offshore as WellSite Engineer at Maersk Oil & Gas participating in development drilling in the Danish sector. Last 8 month was spent in Maersk Drilling operations department assisting in various projects, among other, prepare a semi sub rig for move from Trinidad Tobago to Australia. After the 2-year trainee program I was hired in the operations department preparing rigs for new areas. Very exiting experience participating in negotiations with vendors and operators when preparing for new operations. In January 2009 I got the possibility to move to Stavanger and start working as Assistant Rig Manager for Maersk Inspirer. I was later that year transferred to Maersk Guardian which I also became rig manager for in 2012. Maersk Guardian undertook a 5-yearly classing in Hirtshals summer of 2011 of which I was a part and spent 3 months at the yard in Denmark. I became Rig manager for Maersk Reacher in 2015 and really enjoyed being part of such a great team. The Rig Mangers role is rather complex since the operation and the rig is managed from land, leading and coaching from a distance is both challenging and exiting. I have learned a lot about leadership and communication and the importance of visualize goals and performance. Leadership and coaching is really exciting and to see the result of a well-executed plan together with your team is really what makes a workday complete. Today I’m Production Manager at Bergnäset who i the largest scaffoldingcompany in Sweden.
