About Lars Kjaeroe

I graduated from Loyola University Maryland in May of 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration concentration in Economics. Currently I am working at Chubb Limited in the Commercial Insurance Middle Market department as an Underwriting Associate. I start with the company in January of 2018. After going through a 3 month training program I was given a multi-million dollar book of business to handle. I work with several underwriters who deal with domestic multilines, including, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Property, Equipment Breakdown, & Umbrella. I also work multiple underwriters who work in the multinational field dealing with Employers Liability in the UK to writing Property coverage in China. I have become well verse in the insurance industry with my year plus experience at Chubb.In the summer of 2016 I an internship at the USGA as the scoring intern, I worked at a sectional qualifier for the US Open and at four USGA Amateur Championships, the US Amateur Four-Ball, US Girls' Junior, US Amateur, and US Mid-Amateur. My daily duties in the office were to keep track of scoring tablets that were being used across the country, receive and ship scoring tablets, and prepare scoring tablets for onsite use. While onsite at a USGA Championship my duties were to manage volunteers, teach volunteers how use tablets, trouble shoot any problems that came up during play, and manage the incoming scores from the scoring tablets. During school I participated in my projects, both group and individual, that required me to do detailed research and analysis on companies such as, Uber, MBA Polymers, United Airlines, as well as, the plastic recycling industry and airline industry.
